UnbihexiumFan Evil Chess 4

A variant with a 8x8 board, wazirs in the back rank, and three major pieces: queens, archbishops, and chancellors. Wazirs move one step horizontally or vertically, archbishops move like bishops or horseys, and chancellors move like rooks or horseys. Wazirs are represented the same way as rooks due to technical limitations, but don't get them confused!
This is a user-catalogued casual variant. Technical details such as board size, FEN, pieces, and hand rules are defined in the Fairy-Stockfish variants.ini block below.

Default starting position

Pieces and movement

  • The piece set used on the board is: king (k), queen (q), Wazir (r), pawn (p), archbishop (a) and chancellor (c).
  • Wazir (r) is a custom piece with Betza movement `W`.

Move rules

  • Castling is not allowed.

Promotion

  • The pieces that can promote are: pawn (p).
  • Promotion choices are both sides: archbishop (a), chancellor (c) and queen (q).
