"Keeper of the Ensign" Capture the enemy Ensign and bring it safely back to your territory. The first player to return their Ensign-Keeper to their own side wins. How to play: Promote a piece on E10 (White) or E1 (Black). It becomes the Ensign-Keeper. The Ensign-Keeper can only move if there is a piece in front of it, at any distance. It jumps over that piece and lands beyond it. Reach the 2nd or 3rd rank with White, or the 8th or 9th rank with Black, to win. The Ensign-Keeper cannot capture. All special squares are clearly marked on the board,. So It's fairly intuitive to play (;
