Shaolin King

All the rules of standard Chess apply except that (1) the King is replaced with the Shaolin Master, described below, (2) the game is won if a Pawn reaches the final rank ("Pawn-mate"), and (3) stalemate is a loss for the stalemated player. Unlike the standard Chess King, the Shaolin Master flips between two alternate forms when moved. The Shaolin Master starts in the first form that moves and captures as Chess Queen. The second form moves and captures as the Quetzal in Chak, i.e., a Janggi Cannon that can move both orthogonally and diagonally. Castling is performed by moving the Shaolin Master onto the Rook if normal castling conditions are met in either the standard setup or 960.
