The piece set used on the board is: king (k), queen (q), rook (r), bishop (b), knight (n), pawn (p), piece (e) and piece (h).

Drops and hands

Pieces in hand can be dropped back onto the board. Droppable pieces are: piece (h) and piece (e).

Winning and losing

The game tracks checks as a win condition, as in Three-check style variants.
