Board and setup
Pieces and movement
- The piece set used on the board is: king (k), queen (q), rook (r), bishop (b), knight (n), pawn (p), piece (l), piece (s) and piece (g).
- Piece v is a custom piece with Betza movement `WvR`.
- Piece j is a custom piece with Betza movement `N`.
- Piece e is a custom piece with Betza movement `FfsW`.
- Piece f is a custom piece with Betza movement `WfF`.
Drops and hands
- Pieces in hand can be dropped back onto the board. Droppable pieces are: king (k), queen (q), rook (r), bishop (b), knight (n), pawn (p), piece (l), piece (s) and piece (g).
Promotion
- Promotions are available in the configured promotion zones. The the promotion region for White is all the ranks from 8 to 10 and the promotion region for Black is all the ranks from 1 to 3.
- The pieces that can promote are: piece (l), knight (n), piece (s), piece (g), pawn (p), bishop (b) and rook (r).
- Fixed promotion mappings: l promotes to v, n promotes to j, s promotes to f, g promotes to e, p promotes to g, b promotes to h and r promotes to d.
